ASP.Net is a web application framework developed by Microsoft to allow programmers to build dynamic web sites, as well as web applications and web services. ASP.Net is built on Common Language Runtime allowing programmers to write ASP.Net code using any supported .Net language. APS.Net has a SOAP extension framework which allows ASP.Net components to process SOAP messages. ASP.Net applications are hosted by a web server and are accessed using the stateless HTTP protocol.
We are currently learning about ASP.Net. We are going to start working on it in class as well as implement it in our third project.
