Web Development With ASP.NET MVC{2}

As discussed last week, Microsoft ASP.NET is a common web development tool. ASP.NET MVC (Model View Controller) is a component, built into ASP.NET that offers built in AJAX functionality and support of jQuery. As we progress further in web development, we are starting to see that AJAX is becoming more standardized to many web applications. ASP.NET MVC peovides Helper classes to generate HTML, which supplements AJAX scripts. ASP.NET MVC also provides a good development platform when designing in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

I picked this article becasue it touched base with ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC. I am personally not familiar with ASP.NET MVC, and I thought this article was well written, and easy to understand what ASP.NET MVC is. This article also ties into our class discussions as we seen in previous weeks, we had discussed about HTML, CSS, and jQuery. I personally would recommended this article to someone who isn’t too familiar with ASP.NET, and also check out www.asp.net/mvc/tutorials as it provides good information on ASP.NET MVC.
